Synnøve Marie Kvam Strømsvåg
Serves on The Explorers Club Board of Directors, and she is the chair of the Norway Chapter, and Co-chair of the Chapter Relations Committee
As Co-chair of the Chapter Relations Committee, Synnøve Marie Kvam Strømsvåg focuses on new chapter development and international chapters, she also served on the GLEX Executive Committee in 2019 and 2021. She has an academic background in archaeology and conflict resolution. Synnøve is a project coordinator with EntrepreneurShipOne, and consults on several other exploration and sustainability related projects. She is the chair of the Norwegian branch of the organisation Natural Security (Nordic). She is passionate about connecting people across disciplines and help create synergies between various areas of expertise.
