João Carlos Nunes

Born in Ponta Delgada, island of S. Miguel, Azores, Portugal (1962). He has a degree in Geology, Scientific Branch (Univ. Porto, 1985). Doctorate in Volcanology (Univ. Açores, 2000). Scientific Director of INOVA – Azores Institute of Technological Innovation, Prof. Assistant at Univ. Azores, Scientific Coordinator of the Azores Geopark – UNESCO World Geopark and member of the Board of ENTA – School of New Technologies of the Azores.
