Leading NASA team that is part of the Preseverence Rover command team on a scientific mission to Mars. She is the chief investigator for ChemCam, one of the instruments on board the Perseverance Rover. It is currently focused on discovering the origin and nature of manganese minerals on Mars and how they can be used. She is also studying how sound on Mars can help to identify the rocky and mineral surface on the planet.
