Dr. John All is a global explorer and geoscientist, specializing in climate change research in remote locations and is the author of “Icefall: Adventures at the Wild Edges of our Dangerous, Changing Planet”. NPR called Dr. All a ‘Badass for Science’ and Outside magazine dubbed him the ‘Indiana Jones of Climate Science’. The environmental scientist is the Executive Director of the American Climber Science Program, which brings together scientists from many disciplines along with students and mountaineers to expand global research in remote locations. Dr. All has led expeditions to extreme locations on five continents - from deep caves to tropical rainforests; remote deserts to the great mountain ranges of Asia and South America. His research is focused on hard science that informs public discourse and he is an advocate for adaptive strategies to cope with changes occurring now and in the future.
