Ann Passer is a native New Yorker. She is responsible for over a hundred events per year. Ann is the co-founder of GLEX, is former Vice President for Lectures and Programs and is also a member of the United Nations’ committee, representing The Explorers Club on matters such as climate change, ocean conservation, and sustainable development. With a decades-long experience in programming and partnership building, Ann has developed ongoing collaborations with numerous outstanding partners in many fields, including international relations, conservation, and scientific research institutions. She is co-chair of the Oceans Week and Climate Week programs and is dedicated to educating youth and informing the public in order to improve our world. Ann is on the Board of Directors of the Cheetah Conservation Fund in Namibia, and she is developing film and narrative works about life in the great metropolis of New York City.
